Exploiting the properties of graphene in a plastic can be a challenging task but through several tests and trials we now have some news to share.

We present the first commercially available plastic product from Danish Graphene: GRAPLA Thermal 3.0! Combining a PLA base and our graphene technology we have developed a composite with 3 times higher thermal conductivity than ordinary PLA without compromising the mechanical properties of the material. Better thermal properties can lead to faster processing in injection molding and additive manufacturing while better thermal stability can have various applications in devices. Thermal conductive and electrically insulating gives options for casings for electrical devices where heat dissipation can be an issue.
